10 May

On Monday I visited Year 6, here I bumped into Mrs Rafferty. We were both dropping into wish the students well.
I wanted the students to know that I was proud of them as individuals, as young people. I was the third member of staff to convey that tone or message. Mrs Rafferty and Mrs Birchwood pipped me to the post.
I returned Tuesday and again today. Our students were calm and collected, not dismissive of the importance of the exams, rather reflective and quietly determined. I took great reassurance knowing they are in safe hands with Mrs Birchwood. I am sure they are looking forward to SATurday, filled in a sense of SATisfaction.
Well done – Mr Still
