On Wednesday 9th March World Book Day took place with many different characters appearing around the school. From the educational Mrs Frizelle from the Magic School Bus to the adventurous Hardy Boys to operatic Bianca Castafiore and classic Elizabeth Bennet. And it didn’t stop there. Mrs Trunchbull whipped the Mad Hatters’ into shape who consequently took tea with Nala from the Lion King who prowled into the sunset with Shaun the Sheep who was mournfully following the knacker man from James Herriot. The seniors really appreciated the opportunity to join in with this event.

World Book Day has been brilliant fun. Seeing lots of people in their different costumes can be somewhat amusing. People such as the Mad Hatter, Phileas Fogg and his servant, Shaun the Sheep and Cat in the Hat it has just been a great fun day. Thanks to everyone who arranged it.

Thank you Mrs Attwood for organising World Book Day this year. It was a great day and the cake competition was brilliant. Thank you everyone for putting in effort to get a costume, they were all fantastic.
