On Friday, year 3 attended their first school trip with One School to Butser Ancient Farm. We were very lucky to be historians for the day – exploring the Stone Age dwellings, completing a range of Stone Age and Iron Age activities and asking lots of questions! The highlight for me was when the children took the roles of archaeologists, digging for artefacts and discovering what each one was used for! I was extremely impressed with the fantastic behaviour and high levels of maturity shown by the whole class. We thoroughly enjoyed the day! Miss Wonders

The students were impeccably behaved and had a fun ‘hands on’ experience of what life would have been like for Stone Age people. We ended our day as ‘Archaeologists’  digging in the ground to see what we could find, definitely a highlight for me! Mrs. Unwin

Our students were a credit to the campus, being fully engaged, inquisitive and full of learning. A particular highlight for me was watching Atticus lead the fence building activity and speaking to our wonderful Year 3 students who are already well on their way to self-directed learning. Mr. Rogers
