On Wednesday 10th February, the Sixth form students enjoyed a day out at Guildford Spectrum, trying Ice Skating. The trip was a reward for achieving their merit target.

Mr Buchanan elected himself as photographer and Teachers Annabelle and Mrs Squires took to the ice with the students. The Girl’s PE Teacher, Miss Beagley, led the skating, as she plays ice hockey for the Windsor Knights Ice Hockey Team. She was on hand to show some tips and tricks.

Caitlin Taylor, who had never ice skated before said “I was really scared to start with, but Miss Beagley gave me lots of confidence and I really enjoyed the experience. Now me and my friends are keen to go ice skating again soon!”

The students had lots of fun, with everyone taking part and no broken bones are a plus!
