“One kind word can change someone’s day.”
This week is National Anti-bullying Week 14-18 November 2016. With that in mind, we have been focussing on the issues around bullying in assembly and in tutor groups this week. We have launched the National FLT Power for Good Award and students have been invited to recognise those students who make other people’s lives better through their kindness, commitment, care and compassion towards anti bullying. Whilst we are very fortunate to have so many students who show these values we are aware that some students may be feeling vulnerable and as a school community we have a duty of care to ensure that we all treat each other with the respect and compassion that we would like to receive in return.
Nominations should go to Mr Still via e mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. (Subject line: Power for Good).
