Year 6 pupils have been busy presenting their SDL projects based on Peer Teaching, a public speaking task in which, during 3 to 5 minutes, the speaker imparts their knowledge on a specific topic to the rest of the year 6 group.

The pupils so far have given some inspiring presentations on Woodwork, Planes at War, Football and Food across the World. For our presentations we have benefitted by using the SDL Amphitheatre.

As part of our exciting reading activities the Year 6 have been busy researching the favourite childhood reads of their families as well as that of members of staff at Hindhead. Amongst these were The Enchanted Wood by Enid Blyton, Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne, Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter and The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain . Is one of these your favourite childhood read?
