The Golden Moments –

Grayshott Pottery Experience

Backpacks prepared with previsions and Welly boots on foot, Year 6 took themselves through the Golden Valley to emerge at the foot of Grayshott Pottery.

Having cleaned off the mud from the valley, the Year 6s entered the world of pottery: A fascinating adventure to see the process of creating their household items such as jugs, teapots and dinner plates. The pupils also decorated their own plates which are presently undergoing the glazing process. We are all looking forward to seeing the results of our artists’ work.

At the end of the experience we made our way back through the Golden Valley………hence we certainly managed our 10,000 steps that day.
